About the Hall

Wing Village Hall is a welcoming community venue at the heart of the village of Wing, Rutland.

Managed by a volunteer committee, the hall provides a flexible and affordable space for local groups, private celebrations, classes, meetings, fundraising activities and community events.

Throughout the year, we host a varied programme of events, including pop-up pubs, breakfasts, quiz nights, bingo, food evenings and seasonal celebrations. These events bring people together, raise funds for the hall and help maintain the strong sense of community that makes Wing such a special place to live.

A hall for the whole community

The hall is available to hire for a wide range of occasions, from children's parties and family gatherings to meetings, workshops, clubs and larger community events.

We aim to provide a practical, friendly and well-maintained venue that can be used and enjoyed by people of all ages, both from Wing and the surrounding villages.

Run by volunteers

Wing Village Hall is operated by the Wing Community Centre charity and managed by a committee of local volunteers.

The committee is responsible for maintaining the building, managing bookings, organising events and raising the funds needed to keep the hall open and improve its facilities.

Like many village halls, we receive no regular income simply for existing. Hire fees, fundraising events, grants and community support all play an important part in securing the hall's future.

There are many ways to support Wing Village Hall. You can attend an event, hire the hall, volunteer, donate, help with fundraising or simply spread the word about what is happening.

Every booking, ticket purchase and offer of help contributes to keeping the hall active, welcoming and available for the community.
