A welcoming village hall in the heart of Wing, available for community events, private hire, meetings, classes and celebrations.
Wing Village Hall is at the heart of village life. It is where we meet, celebrate, fundraise, volunteer, plan, chat, eat, drink, laugh and keep the community connected.
The hall is run as a charity for the benefit of the village and wider community. It is maintained through bookings, fundraising, grants and the work of volunteers, with every event and hire helping to keep the building open, useful and welcoming.
The hall is a vital shared place for people to come together. It gives Wing a space for regular events, one-off gatherings, local activities and those small everyday connections that matter in village life.
Whether you live in the village, want to come along to an event, are looking for a space to hire, or would like to get involved, this site is here to help.
Wing Village Hall is owned and managed by Wing Community Centre, registered charity number 512002.
Wing Community Centre operates publicly as Wing Village Hall.
What’s on at the hall
Wing Village Hall hosts a growing programme of community events throughout the year, from Pop-Up Pubs, quizzes and bingo to coffee mornings, seasonal fairs, village suppers, BBQs and fundraising events.
These events help bring people together and raise vital funds for the hall, the church and other local causes.
A note from Cat
I help organise events at Wing Village Hall, from Pop-Up Pubs and quizzes to seasonal fundraisers and village gatherings.
The hall depends on the people who use it, support it and give their time. While our pub is closed (hopefully temporarily!), it has become even more important as a place for people in Wing to meet, socialise and stay connected.
There are plenty of ways to get involved. You do not need to join a committee or commit to anything formal. We are always grateful for occasional help, whether that means setting up tables, serving drinks, selling raffle tickets, sharing ideas, helping at an event, baking a cake, putting up posters or simply coming along and supporting what is happening.
